Sabrina Mulverhill Cowling has been teaching in the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) for 14 years. She is a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.

Sabrina cares about her students’ success, tailoring her teaching style to their various learning needs. She believes in creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, collaboration, and resilience, where kids feel comfortable exploring new ideas and challenging themselves. Her interest in education extends beyond textbooks; she emphasizes the value of social-emotional learning, critical thinking, and practical application of information.

Currently, Sabrina Mulverhill Cowling is working on her Special Education certification while pursuing a double master’s degree at National Louis University, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to professional growth and educational excellence. Sabrina’s desire to obtain her Special Education certification underscores her desire to help students with diverse learning abilities thrive. She recognizes that each child learns differently and is dedicated to developing tailored learning programs to help students gain confidence and independence in their studies.

While working on her Special Education certification and master’s, Sabrina is also an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for third- and fourth-grade students at Nash Elementary in Chicago, where she has worked for two years.
